Ever-Glory Establishes State-of-the-Art Fabric Testing Center

NANJING, China, April 5 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ever-Glory International Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: EGLY) ("Ever-Glory" or "Company"), a leading apparel manufacturer in the People's Republic of China ("PRC"), announced today that it requested national accreditation of its state-of-the-art fabric and accessories inspection and testing center in late March. The Company submitted a laboratory accreditation application form to CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment).

With the Company's recent expansion of production capacity and product lines, this new, 400-square-meter center now incorporates first-class testing machines and devices imported from Germany, the U.S., the U.K. and Hong Kong. The center helps separate Ever-Glory from its competition, which must conduct material inspection via third parties. Utilizing this in-house testing facility, the Company is able to better manage operational risk and increase client confidence in order to develop additional business relationships. The center was put into full operation at the Company's new headquarters in late January 2007.

Ever-Glory management expects to receive the accreditation during the third quarter of 2007. CNAS is the national accreditation body of China unilaterally responsible for the accreditation of laboratories and inspection sites. After receiving the accreditation, Ever-glory hopes to expand its international market on the strength of China's highest fabric testing standard.

"We are committed to providing high-quality garments that meet the highest international standards," said Mr. Yihua Kang, President, CEO and Director of Ever-Glory. "Therefore, we pay close attention to materials purchases, garment production and sample inspection. We believe the full operation of the center in 2007 puts us in a strong position to grow in overseas markets, which have the highest textile standards."

In order to enhance its presence in international markets, Ever-Glory has placed great importance on quality control. Currently, the Center is operated by five key staff, three of whom have obtained qualification certificates from Intertek Testing Services, one of the world's largest consumer goods testing groups. In 2007, the Company plans to hire additional staff members with sufficient operational expertise to expand the Center's capabilities, including providing testing services for other garment manufacturers.
