Al-Noor currently is the CEO of BT Design and CIO of BT Group plc. He is responsible for IT, networks, processes and technical product development and delivery for BT and all of its customers around the world. Additionally he is the lead for BT’s innovative and award-winning, 21CN -- BT’s customer-focused, software-driven infrastructure which will offer our customers exciting new services, faster than ever before.
Al-Noor is one of the world’s most renowned CIOs. Over 30 years, he has built a successful career in investment banking and telecom industries. His track record of successfully leveraging information technologies to achieve business objectives has won him numerous top industry awards, including: CIO magazine’s CIO 100 Award, CNET UK CIO of the Year and the British Computer Society CIO of the Year.
