HONG KONG, June 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HNA International Investment Holdings Limited ("HNA International Investment" or the "Company", stock code: 0521) today announced that the Company has officially signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement (the "Agreement") with China Securities (International) Finance Holding Company Limited ("China Securities (International)") in Hong Kong. The senior management of both companies have attended the signing ceremony on the day and discussed future strategic cooperation.
Pursuant to the Agreement, HNA International Investment and China Securities (International) intend to form a strategic partnership mainly in the domains of investment and financing advisory, corporate finance, asset management and investment fund, as well as infrastructure and commercial real estate development. HNA International Investment will lead the consolidation of industry resources while China Securities (International) will provide investment and financing platform. Through the establishment of investment fund, both companies aim to achieve a win-win scenario. The target fund size will be approximately HK$20 billion.
HNA Group, the major shareholder of HNA International Investment, is a large multinational conglomerate and part of the Fortune Global 500. In recent years, the Company has actively pursued strategic businesses transformation while seeking opportunities in property investment, infrastructure and real estate development in major developed economies. The Agreement is the first comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement signed by HNA International Investment with an investment bank.
