HONG KONG, Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Yang Zhihui, Chairman and Executive Director of Landing International Development Limited ("Landing International" or "the Group", HKEx Code: 00582), was accredited the "Presidential Commendation" at "Foreign Company Day 2017 – Korean Investment Award Ceremony", organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy and coordinated by Korea Foreign Company Association at Le Meridien Hotel in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, South Korea on 7 November 2017.
The Korean Investment Award Ceremony is an annual event among the Korean business community. Evaluated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, the awards aim at recognizing members of foreign-invested companies, related organizations and government agencies that have successfully introduced capital inflow and contributed to the economy and society of South Korea.
Landing International, chaired by Dr. Yang Zhihui, is the developer and operator of Jeju Shinhwa World, the first large-scale integrated leisure and entertainment resort on Jeju Island. The Group has invested approximately US$1.5 billion of foreign direct investment into South Korea through its wholly-owned subsidiary Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd since September 2013.
