"Our dataset reveals that those between 18 and 35 years old are primarily concerned with acne and acne scars that impact their self-confidence significantly. Hyperpigmentation and skin ageing concerns become more pronounced with age, particularly among individuals between 36 and 45, where hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, skin laxity, and collagen loss are more visible.
Dr Ivan Puah stresses the importance of tailoring treatments to match individual skin conditions and laxity levels within this age group.
