"We connect hundreds of companies from up to 18 countries, including Australia, China, Japan, Germany, Spain, Singapore, South Korea and US with thousands of business users, by providing nationwide access to high-speed connectivity. They range from broadband & mobile device management, mobile app and Fintech, as well as wireless and transmission technologies for fiber optic," said Ben Wong, Managing Director of Pamerindo Indonesia, as organiser of the exhibitions.

They will bring together 45 technology and telecommunication executives to share expertise on the industry through conference sessions namely Indonesia Digital Economy Summit 2018. Keynote speakers include leading minds of Facebook, Telkomtelstra, Tokopedia, Alibaba Cloud, The Jakarta Post Digital, GO-JEK and McAfee to speak about digital infrastructure roadmap, digitalized economy, and emerging trends in big data to boost business innovation.

Digital infrastructure footprint in Indonesia will unlock over USD 150 billion in annual economic impact by 2025, according to a research by McKinsey & Company. Indonesia is among the highest users of internet in the world, reaching 143,26 million people or more than 50% of 262 million population of Indonesia.

"We're now facing some challenges to adapt in this fast-evolving digital transformation, such as limited access, diverse infrastructure readiness, limited financial access for startups. To be successful, we need diverse state-of-the-art devices that help Indonesian people to have decent ICT access. Positively, innovations in ICT technologies will overcome digital transformation challenges in Indonesia," said Kristiono, Chairman of Telematics Community of Indonesia (MASTEL).

Smart systems and ICT have a leading position to deploy industry 4.0 in Indonesia. To support the target, the government creates industrial 4.0 roadmap focusing on four technologies, including IoT and the use of digital technology for industries (big data, AR, Cloud, cybersecurity). Alongside the Ministry of Communication and Information, they now develop the Palapa Ring, a 36,000 km fiber optic project throughout 440 cities in Indonesia to support high-speed internet access by 2019.

Kristiono adds, "Indonesia is a country that contains great economic potential. Thus, through a properly targeted support in development and utilization of ICT, we can continue to grow at a robust pace."

These exhibitions are organised with full support of Telematics Community of Indonesia (MASTEL), Indonesian Television Association (AVTSI), and Indonesia Ministry of Communication & Technology.
