Bank Mega and MoneyGram to Facilitate International Cash-To-Cash Money Transfers

JAKARTA, Indonesia, Jan. 19 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Bank Mega and MoneyGram International, a leading international money transfer company, have formed an alliance which will benefit Indonesians living and working around the world. With MoneyGram, Bank Mega can now provide a simple money transfer system that enables even customers without bank accounts to send and receive cash. MoneyGram has 104,000 money transfer agent locations in more than 170 countries and territories.

The service offers great help to Indonesians working and living abroad as well as local businessmen and citizens who need to send money overseas. To use the service, customers will only need to go through some simple steps. They must bring identification such as a passport, complete a short, simple form and then pay for the amount of money they want to send, plus the MoneyGram service fee. They will then be given a MoneyGram reference number. The person receiving the money may pick up the money at any MoneyGram location using this number or, in some cases, just by presenting proper identification.
