TOKYO, June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Breaker Inc., Japan's next generation media and entertainment company, has officially unveiled Breaker Lab. Breaker Lab is an innovative multi-function space that serves as both a cutting-edge digital studio as well as a new cultural nexus for Japanese content creators.

Located in the Harajuku district of Tokyo, this groundbreaking complex is the first studio of its kind in Japan. In line with the vibrant, 24/7 ethos of Japan's online video marketplace, Breaker Lab will be open around the clock in order to fulfill its role as a new hub for international as well as domestic content creators in Japan.

Breaker Lab boasts state-of-the-art studio equipment for videographers, photographers, and recording artists alike. The space features an expansive main floor, vaulted ceilings, and an industrial aesthetic, all designed to provide an ideal shooting space for creators. In addition to being a place of work, Breaker Lab's "creative watering hole" area will serve as an additional arena for the dissemination and exchange of ideas among Japanese artists, industry peers, and supporters.

Alan Swarts, CEO of Breaker Inc., said, "Breaker Lab is an important part of our strategy to lead and facilitate the next wave of great Japanese content creation. We built Breaker Lab to be much more than just a digital studio————it's designed to serve not just as a center for creative exchange but also as a new industry touchpoint for Japanese creatives."
