The Chiba Aqualine Marathon 2016 is the third marathon and half-marathon runs on the Tokyo Bay Aqualine Expressway above the sea. It offers a unique opportunity to run surrounded by the sea and sky as well as the warm hospitality of locals.
The upcoming Chiba Aqualine Marathon is scheduled to be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016. A wheelchair half-marathon has been newly established in addition to the full marathon and half-marathon. The international division, in which non-Japanese nationals can participate on a priority basis, will also be set up. Applications will be accepted online from April 5 to 26, 2016.
