DALIAN, China, July 8 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Industrial Waste Management, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CIWT) disclosed today that five of its operating subsidiaries presented at the China International Environmental Protection Fair 2008 which was held from June 26 to June 28, 2008, in Dalian, Liaoning, People’s Republic of China. The presentations demonstrated the Company’s latest environmental solutions and projects.
During the exhibition, Mr. Wu Xiaoqing, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China, and Mr. Xia Deren, Mayor of Dalian City, made personal visits to CIWT’s booth. Mr. Wu and Mr. Xia received a brief presentation from Mr. Dong Jinqing, CEO of CIWT, with emphasis on the Company’s recently constructed sludge treatment plant. Later that afternoon, Mr. Wu also visited the Company’s facilities at Dalian Dong Tai Industrial Waste Treatment Company.
At Dalian Dong Tai, Mr. Wu toured the waste treatment facilities as Mr. Dong’s guest to further understand the Company and its technologies. Mr. Wu expressed his appreciation of CIWT’s on-going contribution of its expertise to the improvement of Dalian city’s environmental protection, an area of great importance for the nation’s future development.
