HONG KONG, Oct. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Compass Offices, the largest Serviced Office provider in Hong Kong recently announced the results of their month long Facebook Check-in for Charity campaign. By donating HK$10 for every registered Facebook "check-in" at a Compass Offices location, they were able to donate HK$3280 to the Hong Kong Cleanup. Clients and visitors were invited to check-in at any Hong Kong centre by registering with the reception team and checking-in via Facebook throughout September.
Compass Offices Vice President of Global Investment, Alan Mackay commented on the way the idea came about, "We are a very entrepreneurial company; when one of our staff mentioned a similar Facebook campaign at a restaurant we decided to see how this could work for us. We were excited to be involved with the Hong Kong Clean Up and wanted to do more to help, so decided that for each check-in we would make a donation. We are so pleased that this has been a great success and look forward to working on more charitable campaigns in the future."
Check-in for Charity kicked off their CSR efforts as they have also become the official venue sponsor for the Hong Kong Clean Up. They have opened up their seminar space at Infinitus Plaza, Sheung Wan to host information sessions for companies holding beach clean ups. Compass Offices will also be holding a Beach Clean up on Saturday 12th October.
