Lexmark International Inc. (NYSE:LXK): On August 28, Lexmark International Inc. (NYSE:LXK) announced restructuring actions for improving profitability and significant savings. Lexmark said the restructuring actions, including the exiting of the development and manufacturing of the company's remaining inkjet hardware, are expected to save US$95 million each year once fully implemented. Approximately 1,700 positions will be cut through the restructure worldwide. Lexmark said it will remain the supply of service, support and aftermarket supplies for its inkjet installed base.
