This new technology aims to solve the vital problem in Blu-ray copy and Blu-ray backup.
StealthyClone, the bottleneck-breaking technology, solely developed by Fengtao Software Inc., is to provide a unique solution to backup Blu-ray discs. It can quickly and efficiently deal with the new Screen Pass and other structural schemes, in order to make Blu-ray Copy entirely easy and simple.
Background: As an inside practice, Blu-ray discs only use the protections that they are originally designed with to fight against piracy. But, due to the advanced piracy in recent years, those old technologies seem to be fading out day by day. How it works: Screen Pass, a Java based (BD-J) structural protection, will come into power to check whether the disc being played is original or a clone. Later, the user will be presented a black screen messaging that the original disc is required, no ripping tools allowed, visit something.continuemovie.com, or something equivalent. The playback then is either stopped or affected (segments of the movie are swapped around, repeated or in wrong order). Also the users that don't use clone mode and backup Main Movie only (no Java running, no active protection) are having a problem with picking the right Title or playlist for some movies, because the disc is filled with fake playlists with the same runtime, but subtle differences.
StealthyClone: To fight against piracy is what everyone should always bear in mind, but it does not mean that making backups of what one 100% owns and strictly keeping the backup under personal use is illegal.
