BEIJING, Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- As of October 2011, Frontier Group has successfully signed two new hotels under the Days Inn brand with Zhigao Group and Tianci Group. The signings of Days Hotel Zhigao Huainan and Days Hotel Tianci Jian Men Guan signify the beginning of a new partnership for Frontier Group.
Zhigao Group's subsidiary group, Huainan Zhigao Group, signed a franchise agreement with Frontier Group this month for Days Hotel Zhigao Huainan, making it the second hotel project the two groups have cooperated on. The first hotel project wasDays Hotel & Suites Longyan Zhigao, the first 5-star hotel in Longyan City of Fujian Province. In addition, Frontier Group added Days Hotel Tianci Jian Men Guan to its portfolio by signing a franchise agreement with Tianci Group (Chongqing Jingu Group), forging a new partnership for the future.

In addition to the newly signed projects, Days Hotel Group also has four hotels newly opened, including Days Hotel & Suites Changsha City Center (5-star), Days Hotel Suzhou (4-star), Days Hotel Changsheng Jiangyin (4-star), and Days Hotel Legend Mudanjiang (4-star). Days Inn China CEO Harry Tan believes that local governments' willingness to invest will play a large role in China's economic development process over the next ten years, and competition will no doubt become more intense. Mr. Tan continues to say that second and third-tier cities are experiencing especially vibrant economic activity and development. This creates a demand for hotels, especially for internationally branded chains. Days Hotel Zhigao Huainan - four-star, located in Huainan City Tianjia'an District, Anhui Province, 400 rooms, expected to open at the end of 2012. Zhigao Group plans to invest in an area of 2000 acres in the Huainan Animation Technology Industrial Park, with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. The park, which enjoys a central location, brings together more than 30 world-class rides, popular science and industrial exhibitions, and other entertainment and leisure facilities.
Days Hotel Tianci Jian Men Guan - four-star, located in Guangyuan City of Sichuan Province, 130 rooms, has already begun trial operations. Situated near the Jiangexian Temple, the hotel boasts a relaxing spa, catering services, meeting facilities, fishing and other recreational areas, and is set in the Northern Sichuan hot spring resort area. The hot springs, more than two thousand meters deep, flow at a water temperature of 56℃. This heavenly resort is invested in by Tianci Group (Chongqing Jingu Group).
