BEIJING, December 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dehaier Medical Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: DHRM) ("Dehaier Medical" or the "Company"), which develops, markets and sells medical devices and wearable sleep respiratory products in China and international markets, today announced the results of its 2015 annual general meeting of shareholders. The meeting, which was originally scheduled for December 29, 2015, was adjourned to 9:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in order to meet quorum requirements.
During the meeting, the shareholders of Dehaier approved all of the following matters submitted to them:
(i) Election of Xiaoguang Shen and Huili (Alisa) Li as Class II members of the Board of Directors, to serve a term expiring at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders in 2018 or until their successors are duly elected and qualified;
(ii) Ratification of the appointment of Friedman LLP as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2015;
(iii) Transaction of any other business properly coming before the meeting.
