GUANGZHOU, China, Nov. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 4, Evergrande (3333.HK) released its sales presentation of October 2013, which shows that, in October the sales again exceeded ten billion, up to 16.62 billion yuan (RMB, same below), an increase of 16.6%, creating the highest record of monthly sales in its history; with sales area of 2,506,000 square meters.
The presentation also shows that Evergrande has a total of sales amount of 91.27 billion yuan from January to October, with an increase of 25.3%, accounting for 91.3% of the annual sales target, and it is expected that the 100 billion of annual sales target can be accomplished. The total sales from January to October reach 13,527,000 square meters, with year-on-year increase of 10.1%; and the contract sales price from January to October is 6,747 yuan per square meter, an increase of 13.8%, representing increase in volume and price.
It is worth mentioning that, in the "golden September and silver October," Evergrande achieved total sales of 27.15 billion yuan, accounting for 27.2% of annual target; from August to October monthly sales exceeded ten billion yuan for three consecutive months, which is the first time in the Group's history, with total sales of 38.55 billion yuan, accounting for 38.6% of annual target. The growth momentum is very strong. According to reports, in November, Evergrande will open several new projects, together with continued expansion of other projects on sale, Evergrande will continue its sales momentum.
