"Interest in the GRE revised General Test has been steadily growing as more people in Macau are choosing to pursue a graduate or business degree," says Dawn Piacentino, Director of Communications and Services for the GRE Program at ETS. "We are excited to have new centers in Macau where the computer-delivered test can be administered."

The computer-delivered format is the most widely administered format of the GRE revised General Test. It features a test-taker friendly design, which has received great feedback from test takers around the world. In addition, the computer-delivered test allows for fast score reporting, so individuals in Macau who take the computer-delivered format will be able to view unofficial Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores at the test center immediately after completing the test. Official scores, including the Analytical Writing score, will be available to test takers through their My GRE ® Account about 10–15 days after testing. Scores will be sent to designated score recipients in the same 10–15-day time frame.

Individuals taking the computer-delivered format are able to select institutions to receive free score reports while at the test center and use the new ScoreSelect ® option to decide exactly which scores to send to institutions. In addition, test takers in Macau can expect more frequent test administration options as a result of the computer-delivered test availability.

Prospective test takers of the computer-delivered GRE revised General Test are encouraged to use preparation materials specifically designed for this format of the test. The free POWERPREP ® II software includes two full-length practice tests. These timed tests simulate the test-taking experience, including the test-taker friendly design features like the on-screen calculator. This software provides the only practice experience that is as close to the actual test as you can get. Other official test preparation tools from ETS, the maker of the test, include the GRE ® Success Starter video series, The Official Guide to the GRE® revised General Test, Second Edition and the recently released mobile app. To learn more about these and all available GRE test preparation tools, visit www.takethegre.com/prep.

Finally, prospective GRE test takers in Macau are encouraged to register early to get their preferred computer-based testing date and location. All test centers, test dates and seat availability can be viewed online at http://www.ets.org/gre/testcenters.
