Essence restaurant hosts 7-day German week from 12-18 March
SHANGHAI, March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- From 12-18 March, our Essence restaurant will be holding a German Food Festival featuring buffet tables loaded with an impressive selection of the country's many delicious regional cuisine. As well offering traditional favourites, each night Essence will showcase a different hot-pot hearty meat dish designed to warm the soul! And at 8pm, you can join a beer tasting contest to find the two German brands out of five that could win you a free dinner!
Chef Leibl brings to the role more than 20 years of experience, spanning roles within some of the leading five-star hotels in Europe and Asia.
Chef Leibl started his culinary career in 1988 at the Michelin Star restaurant, Gasthaus Polster, in Erlangen-Kosbach, Germany. From here he went on to work in other notable fine dining restaurants across Germany before moving to London in 1997 to work at the famed Royal Garden Hotel as Sous Chef. After a role as Executive Chef at the Goodwood Park Hotel, Chef Leibl moved to Asia as Executive Sous Chef for Conrad Centennial Singapore – his first posting with Hilton Worldwide.
