ISA TanTec Expands its Global Presence with the Official Opening of its First Tannery in the US

VICKSBURG, Miss., June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ISA TanTec Ltd announced today the grand opening of Mississippi TanTec in Vicksburg, its first tannery in the United States. Together with its award-winning sister facilities in Saigon, Vietnam, and Heshan, China, ISA TanTec now has three tanneries in the key geographic manufacturing regions.

Company officials were joined by members of the state and local government, customers and business partners to celebrate the occasion. Over 600 guests attended the event.

With a total investment of $10.1 million, this facility boasts a land size of 210,000 sqm. The initial production capacity is in the range of 600,000 sqf. per month. It is expected to generate over 360 positions in the next five years.
