YANTAI, China, Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 3-6, G20 summit was held in St. Petersburg, Russia, during which leaders of China and Russia have agreed to speed up cooperation on big strategic projects in fields including energy and aviation to promote the existing solid Sino-Russian Strategic Partnership of Cooperation.
Meanwhile, six well-known Russian oilfield service Companies including CCK, gathered in Jereh Group, Yantai, China, a global leading company in providing equipment for oil and gas drilling, well completion, natural gas purification, transportation, liquefaction, fueling and EPC services, to participate in Jereh's second seminar of oil & gas equipment aiming at Russian energy development and exploitation.
Russia is one of Jereh's core markets in its international expansion. In 2007, Jereh provided the Siberian region with the first cementing unit, equipped with the most advanced automatic slurry density controlling system, and readapted it with the Russian company into truck mounted type to meet local operating conditions, which featured an excellent performance. In 2008, another 10 sets of cementing units were offered to a Russian drilling company. Up to now, Jereh has provided a large number of cementing units, acidizing and fracturing spread, nitrogen units and other drilling & completion, stimulation equipment for Russian market.
Since 2009, CCK, a well-known Russian oilfield services company, has a close partnership with Jereh, and has cooperated with ROSNEFT for years using Jereh's high quality equipment. As a continuous attendee, one delegate said excitedly, "Just in two years, what Jereh has done, the doubled size of its industrial park, surprised us a lot, meanwhile gave us more confidence about Chinese oilfield equipment."
During this event, Jereh's new skid-mounted variable-frequency AC drive drilling rig aroused widespread attention of Russian customers. This skid-mounted drilling rig can achieve high derrick floor, low installation and overall lifting, for easier and faster installation. In addition to meet stringent Russian GOST standards, Jereh team makes cryogenic design and improvement per local arctic environment, for example, adding a heater to ensure the smooth engine starting at low temperature, the heat exchanger to improve the cold resistance of the hydraulic system. Besides, specialized cryogenic steel and low-temperature welding process are adopted for derrick, traveling system and other load-bearing parts. Also the derrick load test is made in line with Russian national standard i.e. 25% pre-load above the maximum, to ensure load safety under - 45 degrees C.
The same shock is also received by Jereh's research and development in coiled tubing in the past two years. "There are only a few companies around the world that can manufacture coiled tubing equipment, but what Jereh has provided, one-stop solution from downhole tools to the whole packaging and simulation training system, is even more extraordinary," the representative from one workover company said.
Through three days' visiting and interaction, representatives witnessed Jereh's strong capability as the Chinese largest oilfield stimulation equipment manufacturer and it is firmly believed that those agreements between China and Russia as well as the successful holding of Jereh's product seminar will further promote Jereh-Russia partnership to achieve broader and deeper cooperation in future oil & gas exploitation.
