BEIJING, March 17 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- PRC law firm Lehman, Lee & Xu is now a contributor to the Environmental Law section of LegalStudio, the well-known legal database on Chinese law.

Lehman, Lee & Xu has a long history of collaboration with LegalStudio through its contributions to the database's Intellectual Property, Corporate and Tax sections. The success of past collaboration led to its new role as a contributor to the Environmental Law section. This new role allows the experts at Lehman, Lee & Xu to explore an area of law which Managing Director Edward Lehman calls "a hot and exciting field that is gaining increasing importance in China with the government placing environmental sustainability at the forefront of public policy -- we will see ground-breaking progress in the fight against pollution and climate change."

Lehman said involvement in the Environmental Law project is crucial "because exchange of knowledge between colleagues is the core of the modern legal profession" and it requires that "as lawyers, we are all committed to share our experiences with others." To him, this is a "principle which applies to all professions, and to society and life in general, as evolution is impossible without collaboration."

Aldo Settimio Boni de Nobili, an Italian associate at the firm, will be the main contributor for the environmental section of LegalStudio. As a contributor for Getting the Deal Through on energy law and for the well-known web tool Compliance to Products (C2P) on environmental law, Boni de Nobili is experienced in dealing with energy projects and advising clients on environmental law compliance deals as a part of the Energy & Resources practice of Lehman, Lee & Xu.
