DAB, the major standard of digital audio broadcasting, has been adopted in Europe for a long time. Around 3 million DAB receivers had been sold in Europe by 2006, and it is estimated that the number will rise to 6 million this year. Most OEMs and ODMs who provide DAB receivers to European markets are located in southern China.
