MILAN, Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Solar water machine manufacturer Micoe released its brand new intelligent water purifier ZERO in the China Pavilion of the Milan Expo on September 16, scooping the Milan Expo Industrial Fashion Design Award in the process. Li Jun, the president of Micoe, accepted the award along with the project's chief designer Santi Musmeci. Micoe then donated the first of the machines to Milan's city hall.
Ms. Xiao Yu, the deputy chief representative of Milan Expo China Pavilion, Mr. Liu Yu, the commercial counselor of the Chinese consulate general in Milan and Andrea Zelioli, the city of Milan's environmental director attended and addressed visitors, with Mr. Zelioli offering a warm welcome and congratulations to Micoe for the achievements the company has made.
The ZERO intelligent water purifier was chiefly designed by famous Italian designer Santi Musmeci from PLUSOUT, a well-known Italian company with whom Micoe began cooperating in May this year. When talking about his own design concept, Musmeci said the origin of the name of ZERO refers to zero impurities.
The purifier has three marked characteristics. Firstly, there is no need to install it, as it can move freely between rooms. Secondly, it has on-demand temperature adjustment simply through the touch of a button. And thirdly, this product integrates leading UV technology, meaning it can effectively prevent bacterial growth.
