Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE): On August 7, Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) announced that the company has signed a license agreement with Mylan Specialty L.P., a subsidiary of Mylan Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Pfizer will obtain the exclusive rights to market and sell EpiPen® Injection 0.3/0.15mg in Japan. These products are for self-administration for the emergency treatment of life-threatening allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) caused by allergens, exercise or unknown triggers. EpiPen Injection is the only approved epinephrine auto-injector in Japan. The financial terms of the agreement were not completed. What's more, Pfizer stated on August 1 that Daniel L. Kisner, M.D. has been appointed to its Board of Directors. The election of Dr. Kisner increases the total number of Pfizer Directors to six. In the last trading session, share of Pfizer dumped 2.14% to US$23.74 on hefty volume of 56.37 million shares, above its usual volume of 37.53 million shares. Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:NUS): Shares of Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:NUS) slumped 9.21% to US$44.36 in the last trading session after short-seller Citron Research published a report alleging that the personal-care products maker was operating an illegal multi-level marketing scheme in China. Citron, run by California-based investor and notable short-seller Andrew Left, alleged on its website Tuesday that Nu Skin's direct-selling business in China was actually "pyramid-selling" and was illegal under Chinese law. Nu Skin stated that its business model in China is differed from its global model, but said its compensation policies were similar to other direct selling companies operating in the country. By the end of July, Nu Skin showed second-quarter revenue was increased by 40% to US$593.2 million, from revenue of US$424.4 million a year ago. McDermott International (NYSE:MDR): McDermott International (NYSE:MDR) recently reported income from continuing operations of US$52.7 million, or US$0.22 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2012, compared with continuing operations of US$63.7 million, or US$0.27 per diluted share, in the same quarter of 2011. During the latest quarter, McDermott International showed revenues were US$889.2 million compared to US$849.8 million, a year ago.
