SHENYANG, China, June 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- NF Energy Saving Corporation (NASDAQ: NFEC) ("NF Energy" or the "Company"), a leading energy saving service solutions provider for China's power, petrochemical, coal, metallurgy, construction and municipal infrastructure development industries, announced today that the Company recently signed a $800,000 sales contract in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, in western China, to provide the DN3400 butterfly valve flow control system to one local water conservancy project. This is the first contract the Company has entered in the region on a flood control, irrigation and power generating project. The Xinjiang Autonomous Region is located in North-West of China, covering 1/6 of the country's territory. The region has rich water resources. Water from more than 20,000 sq. kms of permanent snow and glaciers forms many rivers such as the Talimu River, the Yili River and the Manasi River however the water resources are unevenly distributed in this vast region. To improve water distribution and increase energy supply, the government of Xinjiang encourages the development of water resource projects for better irrigation and electricity generation. The Company plans to enhance its marketing efforts in this area in an attempt to acquire more sales contracts.
