SINGAPORE, June 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DHL, the world's leading logistics company, today announced the appointment of Oscar de Bok as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Asia-Pacific region of its Supply Chain division. Oscar fills the position vacated by Paul Graham who transfers to Bonn to become the divisional Chief Operating Officer and the CEO for Mainland Europe, Middle East & Africa. The organizational changes were effective from 1st June.

Oscar de Bok was previously the CEO for DHL Supply Chain's South and South East Asia region, a position he has held since 2010. In his new position the scope of his responsibility has extended to include the North Asia and the South Pacific sub-regions. He will be accountable for driving continued profitable growth, delivery of world-class operations and providing leadership to the 44,000 employees across 12 countries in the region.

He brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked in the logistics industry for nearly 25 years during which time he has held a number of senior leadership roles within DHL Supply Chain including Senior Vice President, Business Development -- Asia Pacific; and Managing Director positions for Italy and the Nordic & Baltic Region.

Paul Graham who held the position of Chief Executive Officer - Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, for the past six years has been appointed the new CEO for Mainland Europe, Middle East & Africa. He will also serve as DHL Supply Chain's Chief Operating Officer, a role focused on increasing customer value by delivering world class operations that continue to make DHL Supply Chain the undisputed leader globally.
