TAIPEI, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- WhyNotTech Company, LTD., has launched an Indiegogo campaign for ARING, a small, water-resistant device with one button that uses only one hand and speech. It will deliver voice commands to a smart phone and then the smart phone will do what needs to be done.
A 2014 Google mobile voice survey conducted by Northstar Research revealed that teens love to talk, and that the possibilities for voice activation functions are endless. ARING works via an app and uses Google's offline speech recognition to covert the speech to text, and then assigns the commands to tasks on your phone. Users can take notes, perform Google searches, remotely control smart household appliances and search popular videos through YouTube and play them directly on the big screen with Chromecast.
Beyond just operating phones, ARING will move forward with more features in the future. A Voice Cloud is able to store voices and texts for users and allow sharing, backup and more applications.
When donators choose the $5 USD Select option, they will be entered into a drawing, with one backer from every 50 backers at that level picked to receive a free ARING. Buyers can also get an ARING directly just $79 USD (limited to 999). Devices are expected to ship in February 2016.
