SHANGHAI, May 11 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Two subsidiaries of Praxair China, Tongling Praxair Co., Ltd (TLPC) and Praxair (Shanghai) Semiconductor Gases Co., Ltd. (PSS) have received safety awards from respective local government authorities.

TLPC has been awarded "Model Enterprise on 2008 Targets Management for Safe Production" by the Tongling municipality of Anhui province. PSS was awarded "Self-Discipline Enterprise in Safe Production" by Shanghai Pudong Safety Administration.
Both subsidiaries are recognized for their prominent safety performance - zero accidents; strict, daily safety management systems, individual safety, process safety, distribution safety, environmental protection, occupational health and emergency response.
In 2008, Praxair China was awarded "National Top 10 Company on Dangerous Goods Transportation Safety".
