RSA Launches the First Bilingual Motor Insurance App for Smartphone Users in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Leading global insurer RSA announced today the launch of the first bilingual motor insurance application, RSA Motor Service App, for Smartphone users in Hong Kong.

The App is designed to bring ultimate convenience to car drivers in dealing with traffic accidents, receiving driver related information, and reporting insurance claims by using their mobile devices.  

RSA Motor Service App has a number of unique features:

• Make emergency calls to the Police, garage, insurance agent and 24-hour Assistance
• Locate a garage or a hospital nearby
• Use flash light in the dark for alert or lighting purpose
• Utilise GPS, Voice and Camera functions to record accident details
• File a motor insurance claim on the scene to RSA
• Read useful tips on Third Party or Own Damage claims
• Store key information about users' own vehicle and motor insurance

According to a recent research (Note), Hong Kong has the third highest smartphone penetration in Asia Pacific at 35%, and Smartphone users use their devices anywhere, anytime.
