SHANGHAI, June 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The signing ceremony for the partnership between London Business School (LBS) and Fudan University's School of Management (FDSM) to launch the Global Masters in Management (MiM) Double Business Degree was held today. Sir Andrew Likierman, Dean of London Business School; Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean, FDSM, and Professor Yin Zhiwen, Associate Dean, FDSM, as well as corporate representatives and alumni, attended the ceremony.

Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean, FDSM, was also happy about the partnership. Professor Lu said in his speech that the collaboration between two strong and leading institutions combines the essence of management systems from the East and West. The double degree programme also integrates local practical experience with global vision to accommodate the demands of globalization trends. He anticipates the programme will cultivate real elites with global vision in the business world.

The deans signed a memorandum of the partnership and exchanged gifts to symbolize the historic moment.

Participants will study at Fudan University and London Business School for one year, respectively. Graduates will acquire master's degrees from both institutions. Participants from across the globe will learn both first-class management concepts and practical commercial knowledge.
