Temptations: A Rite of Spring Mushrooms Buffet

During the Chinese New Year period, Temptations will be preparing a special-themed buffet, "A Rite of Spring Mushrooms". The Executive Chef Joe Chan will select the freshest mushrooms daily as well as other unique ingredients to prepare exquisite yet mouthwatering dishes, such as Stuffed Squid with Minced Pork and Black Truffle in Seafood Sauce, Sole Roulade with Tuna and Prawn Mousse in White Truffle Oil, Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Herbs and Forest Mushrooms and Wok-friend Ostrich Meat with Forest Mushrooms and Capsicum. Chef Joe will also prepare a variety of popular Chinese New Year dishes, including Braised Pig Tongue with Dried Oysters and Lettuce, Sauteed Prawns and Cuttlefish with Honey Beans in XO Sauce, Grilled Cod Fish with Honey Sauce and many more.

Another highlight not to be missed is the Lucky Tossed Salmon. It has been a Singaporean tradition for Chinese New Year suitable for large parties. When this plate is served, everyone in the group must take a pair of chopsticks to mix the sashimi and vegetables together with blessing one another "Lo Hei", which means performing with flying colours in one's career or devotion. This is not only a fun and interactive choice but also has great meaning.
