(NYSE: STP), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules, announced that Suntech America, Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary, will immediately begin marketing and selling building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) solar products produced by its MSK Corporation unit in the North American market.

Mr. Leonard May has been named as Vice President of Business Development of Suntech America and will be responsible for the BIPV market in the Americas. With 12 years experience at Solarex which was later acquired by BP Solar, Mr. May has a long track record of sales, distribution, marketing and executive management within the PV solar space. “I look forward to working on pursuing new sales channels and opportunities for the developing BIPV market. I will be actively looking for business partners as we have significant capabilities with the MSK BIPV line for standard residential roof PV, building façades, custom modules, laminates and OEM products,” said Mr. May.
