NEW DELHI and MUMBAI, India, Feb. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ --

Australia's leading arbitration body, the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) (www.acica.org.au) will address business leaders and government advisors on opportunities for Indian multinationals engaged in the global economy.

With investors wanting to avoid the uncertainty of litigation in foreign court systems, international arbitration, in a venue neutral to parties, has emerged as the process of choice to resolve disputes.

Indian parties transacting business with companies based in North Asia, China, North and South America, SE Asia and the Middle East need to agree on a neutral venue for the resolution of their disputes.

Companies locked in cross-border disputes are flying to Sydney to settle their disputes as the Australian International Disputes Centre (AIDC), a dedicated world class hearing facility, offers a legally safe, well resourced, and economical venue with guaranteed neutrality. Further, Australian courts are strongly supportive of International Arbitration.

AIDC data notes 80% of cases filed are from overseas. Facilities are also available in other Australian cities particularly Melbourne and Perth.

The events are sponsored by the Australian Government, the Australian High Commission, Global 500 Indian firm, Economic Laws Practice and business behemoth, the ADANI Group.
