TEDA Cooperates with Dalian Software Park to Establish Tianjin Binhai Outsourced Service Industrial Park


TIANJIN, China, Aug. 2 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- At the meeting of the 2007 Tianjin Binhai New Area Summit Forum on Development of Outsourced Services and Talent Education and Training held in Tianjin on August 1, 2007, Li Yong, Director of the Management Committee of TEDA, and Gao Wei, President of the Dalian Software Park Co. Ltd., signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation and announced both parties would cooperate to establish the Tianjin Binhai Industrial Park for Outsourced Services.

The Tianjin Binhai Industrial Park for Outsourced Services occupies a land area of nearly 900,000 square meters, which will be developed according to a world-class infrastructure standard, and the first phase, involving 100,000 square meters, will be put into use successively from the end of 2008.

As a base city for outsourced services catering to 11 countries, Tianjin has a unique geographical advantage, a talent-training system for the outsourced service industry and a comprehensive competitive advantage of a high industrial assembling degree. Now it is engaged in developing a high-tech, high-efficiency, low energy-consuming and pollution-free outsourced software industry.

TEDA, one of the two operators in the Tianjin Binhai Industrial Park for Outsourced Services, is the best state-level development area in China. Another operator, the Dalian Software Park Co. Ltd. (DLSP), has successfully developed the Dalian Software Park into a specialized software park that has the clearest international characteristics and incorporates production, study and research, and into an industrial base for outsourced services of the largest scale in China.

Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) was established in 1984 with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. It is one of the first state-class economic-technological development areas in the country.
