Patrick Molle, President of EMLYON Business School, declared: "In these times of economic and financial crisis, we need to listen to those who daily create real value for the world. They are realistic and enterprising, they are entrepreneurs. They can take up the challenges of the world and contribute to more social justice. The goal of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, international since its inception, is to give a global stage to entrepreneurs, and disseminate their enthusiasm and their knowledge".

Destined to become the annual gathering for global entrepreneurial leaders, the World Entrepreneurship Forum will bring together 80 selected personalities representing 35 nationalities. Four profiles who each have an entrepreneurial role in society: entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, politicians, and experts, will meet and discuss the topic of "the entrepreneur as a creator of economic wealth and social justice".

During the 3-day think-tank, discussions will be held in private sessions, based on two preparatory works:

-- Conclusions from the scientific steering committee made up of eight

researchers, all of whom are world-renowned experts in the field of

entrepreneurship,

-- Recommendations from the World Entrepreneurship Forum - Junior

Edition, held in Shanghai, July 1-4, 2008, and organized by EMLYON

Business School students.

These discussions will lead to an internationally published book and a White Paper aimed at supporting lobbying actions in favor of responsible entrepreneurship. The think-tank has further underlying objectives, such as stimulating research into entrepreneurship and disseminating knowledge.
