LAS VEGAS, April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloud Connect Las Vegas, a global cloud computing event held by UBM Tech, got underway in style on April 27, marking an important part and highlight of Interop Las Vegas, the leading independent technology conference and expo designed to inspire, inform and connect the world's IT community.
Running until May 1, the 10 main conferences and workshops this year include Applications, Cloud Connect, Collaboration, Infosec & Risk Management, Infrastructure, Leadership, Mobility, Software-defined networking, Storage and Virtualization, with top companies from worldwide gathering on the expo floor.
During the Expo Opening Reception on April 28, the winners of the 2013-2014 Top Brands from China (core award of last year's Top Cloud Connect Awards) were introduced to all Interop Las Vegas attendees, and awarded trophies onsite.
They were Tencent Cloud, Beijing Teamsun Technology, H3C Technologies, Dr. Peng Telecom & Media Group and Yovole Networks. Those names are the top representatives of the continuously progressing Chinese cloud computing industry, being well-recognized by Interop and the global IT community.
Incidentally, this year's Interop Las Vegas is the first time Chinese companies have taken an active role in the event, and in addition to the awards, Huawei (#1739), Dr. Peng Group (#1133), PHICOMM (#1015), GDS Services (#905), 21Vianet (#807), Yunshan Networks (#1006), ChinaCache-Atecsys (#1005) and other leading Chinese brands are on the expo floor showcasing the strength of the enormous China market, increasing brand awareness and enhancing the Going Out strategy.
