UCWeb India Extends Support to Amitasha for Education and Welfare of 1000 Girl Students

NEW DELHI, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- UCWeb, a leading global provider of mobile internet software and services, today announced its first Corporate Social Responsibility initiative for India by extending its support to Amitasha. Amitasha is an independent NGO that manages 5 afternoon schools where girl children are taught, loved and cared. Amitasha provides free education, meals and healthcare facilities to underprivileged girl students. A part of the Amity Humanity Foundation, it even provides college education to the girls at Amity's various campuses across India.

As a part of the initiative, UCWeb would be supporting and spreading the Diwali festivities among 1000 girl students of Amitasha by purchasing special Diwali Greeting cards and Diyas prepared by them. The substantial resources provided by UCWeb will be utilized by Amitasha to continue providing free education, meals and other benefits being given to these students.

The company would share the gifts prepared by Amitasha's students with its users and fans without charging them any money.
