(Nasdaq: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator in China, announces it will introduce "Pocketpet Journey West," a 3D MMORPG, in the name of "Ether Saga Online" in North America in 2009 through its wholly owned US subsidiary Perfect World Entertainment Inc. ("PWE").
"Ether Saga Online" represents the game characters and scenes in a young anime style, and features a number of exciting game systems. Unlike many other MMORPGs in the North American market, "Ether Saga Online" will be "Free-To-Play." Perfect World’s R&D team has been working on localizing the game to cater to North American game players.
